Standard facade roller shutters

External facade roller shutters are a universal sun protection variant, matching the window, balcony door and terrace door models in the Budvar range.

External facade roller shutters are a solution that can be used at any time, as their installation does not require any direct intervention on the body of the building. The roller shutter box is placed on the facade or in the window embrasure. Its classic, slightly chamfered appearance adapts to all types of construction, from traditional to modern.

The roller shutter box can be mounted on the wall of the building (without interfering with the window lighting) or in the window recess (interfering with the window lighting).

The standard facade roller shutter box is made of aluminium, with an inspection cover on the front. Its practical location and easy access allow trouble-free maintenance of the roller shutter.
The roller shutter can be integrated with an insect screen rolled up in a box. This solution allows you to use your external roller shutters independently and protect yourself from annoying insects.

The roller shutter armour can be controlled by electric or manual motors.

External facade roller shutters can be connected to the Smart Home system, making them even easier to control. From Somfy’s TaHoma® control panel, homeowners can control roller shutters and other connected devices from their smartphone, wherever they are in the world.
