Sectional garage doors
This is a popular solution for closing garages, which is characterized by functionality, aesthetics and high insulation. They consist of horizontal panels (segments) that slide vertically upwards and then along the garage ceiling.
Garage door
Choosing the right garage door is a decision that will affect the comfort of daily use and the safety of the house. Before buying, it is worth considering carefully what our needs are, what space conditions we have at our disposal, and what additional features (such as automatic opening, thermal insulation) will be important to us. Thanks to the wide range of solutions available on the market, everyone will find something for themselves – both in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
Ways to open the gate
Normal guide RSC 200 is the standard and most commonly used type of garage door guide. The required lintel height is 200 mm for manual operation and 250 mm when the door is operated by an electric drive.
High guidance RES 350 is used wherever the use of normal guidance RSC 200 is not possible due to the excessive height of the lintel. The RES 350 guide has a minimum lintel height of 350 mm with manual control and 400 mm with an electric drive.
The low-header gate RSC 80 is used wherever you do not have space to install the gate in a standard guide. The required headroom in the low guide is only 80 mm with manual operation and 150 mm with an electric drive.
Advantages of garage doors
- Space saving – sectional doors open vertically upwards, so they do not take up space in front of the garage
- Good thermal insulation – the door segments are filled with an insulating material, polyurethane foam, which provides excellent thermal insulation
- Safety – sectional gates are equipped with security systems such as photocells that detect obstacles
- Ease of operation – thanks to modern electric drives, gates can be opened and closed remotely
- Aesthetics and variety of design – sectional doors are available in a wide range of colors
- Quiet operation – modern sectional doors are characterized by quiet operation, which is important especially in backyard garages

Types of garage door panels
Sectional gates are manufactured based on two types of panels:
PANEL 40 mm
Standard panels used for garage doors consist of sections 40 mm thick and 500 mm, 555 mm or 610 mm high.
They are constructed of hot-dip galvanized and polyester-coated steel sheet, filled with polyurethane foam with high thermal insulation properties. The design solutions of the sections protect the gate user from crushing fingers.

PANEL 60 mm ThermicGATE
The panels used for ThermicGATE garage doors consist of sections as thick as 60 mm and as high as 500 mm.
They are constructed of Z100 and Z225 galvanized steel and polyester-coated steel sheet, filled with polyurethane foam with very good thermal insulation properties.
The design solutions of the sections protect the user of the gate from crushing fingers.
Heat transfer coefficient of the panels U = 0.39 (W/m2*K)
Psi value between panels Ψ = 0.209 (W/m*K)
